Broad Spectrum CBD

There are three types of CBD products that are available on the market, and each has their own benefits and shortcomings. The following is a summary of the different types of CBD products:

1. CBD isolate: Products labelled as CBD isolate contain only CBD in their formulations. These products are great for general health maintenance and for those who don’t want to or cannot ingest tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
2. Broad Spectrum CBD: Products labelled as broad spectrum contain CBD, terpenes and other cannabinoids that are present in Cannabis. These products are either free from THC or contain trace amounts of THC. These products may offer more prominent results, over CBD isolate products, as the terpenes and other cannabinoids work under what is called the “entourage effect.”
3. Full Spectrum CBD: Products labelled as full spectrum contain CBD, terpenes, other cannabinoids and THC (up to 0.2%). These products offer the greatest potential for healing but carry the baggage of potentially showing up on a drug screening.
